Link: Penguin Mouse

Nickname: The Penguin

Why: Because if you look at the front of the mouse, it looks like a little penguin with a bow tie on #CUUUTTEEE

Cool Factor: 9/10 because penguins are cute #obvi

Why is it special? : The Penguin mouse is unlike any other mouse you will come across because it is an ambidextrous mouse. You just flip the " bow tie" and use your right or left hand to mouse. It is also completely vertical which is beneficial for protecting you from carpal tunnel. You even have to choice of getting this mouse in small, medium, or large. You can measure your hand on their website to make sure you get a perfect size.

Comfort level: Let me tell you a little story about a girl who moved this mouse around with her wrists instead of her whole arm and had wrist discomfort for 2 days. That girl is me. I suffer so that you don't have to :) Anyways if you didn't already gather from my previous statement- PRO TIP: use your ENTIRE ARM to move this mouse to avoid wrist fatigue.

Easy to use: * Insert cricket sound here*. The drawback of the Penguin mouse is that there is a pretty big learning curve to using it. This is because most people are not used to having the left and right click stacked on top of each other with a scroll wheel in the middle. We are used to the buttons being side by side. PLUS if you are not used to using a vertical mouse and feeling like you are flying a plane, it takes extra long to get used to.

Easy to set up ?: #DUHH just plug it in.

Keeps neutral Posture: Yes, this mouse promotes a neutral wrist IF and only IF you are at the right height to use this mouse. When using this mouse make sure that your wrists are straight like when you shake some random person hands. You don't want your wrists to be bent up or down. Not sure if your wrists are neutral? Try my online ergonomic evaluation, and I will let you know # HOLLAA

Can you travel with it? : Yeah... But... it's not a skinny mouse so keep that in mind.

Should I buy this or save my money for avocados?: To get the most bang for your buck, I would recommend this mouse if you experience some arm/ wrist fatigue throughout your day. The Penguin will allow you to switch back and forth between hands to prevent fatigue. If you plan on doing this, I highly recommend getting this mouse wireless because moving a mouse that has a wire is soooo 2005.
